I grew up in a small suburb of Sacramento, where my parents and brothers still live (and where I love to visit often). I attended San Francisco State University and obtained my bachelors degree in International Relations. I studied abroad in Madrid for one year at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After completing my bachelors degree, I worked for a couple of years in technology before deciding to pursue teaching. I started working for an education nonprofit as a teaching fellow at a middle school in East Harlem in New York City. After realizing that teaching was my passion, I returned to California so that I could be closer to my family and work towards obtaining my teaching credential. I am currently a graduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles where I am pursuing my masters in education. I love working with middle school students and am so excited to be apart of this school. I look forward to working with you and your student this year!
